Bringing over 21 years of professional marketing and strategic business proposal experience to the REACH Team, Terra’s proven attention to detail, ability to ask the ‘tough questions’, and effectively tailor information into high quality results, has set her up for success as an Account Manager in the event planning world.

 

Terra is a true people person with a huge heart! As a youth, Terra was a camper and later, a counselor at Camp Chrysalis. Here she formed a foundation early on for a true dedication to family, and friends and a selfless commitment of leadership and service to the community. Her many past and current community service roles include: Director of the Austin Area Homeschoolers (AAH) Chess Club; Founder of AAH Soccer Skills Academy; Board Chair at Gethsemane Lutheran Children’s Ministry; Pioneer Farms (a TX Living History Museum); Meals on Wheels; and It’s My Park Day.

 

Growing up in Austin, a special and rare find these days, Terra’s passion for music, sports, people, travel, new experiences and all things outdoors blossomed. She received a full scholarship to play soccer for Texas Christian University, where she graduated with a dual degree in Marketing and Business Management. She discovered her love for travel early during her experiences playing soccer across the US, with a favorite being Hawaii!

 

Terra served as Marketing Proposal Coordinator for 8 years at URS (now AECOM), where her Austin Proposal Team was considered a "Center of Excellence" within the worldwide engineering firm. At URS, Terra provided professional proposal coordination, strategic planning, and executing company-changing domestic and international engineering proposals. 

 

As a freelance consultant for the past 14 years, Terra continues to help her clients increase their business proposal win rate through effective marketing practices and proven, client focused, proposal writing process.
